Dear Prospective Parents/Guardians,

Thank you for your interest in San Francisco Waldorf School as we begin our 31st year in San Francisco of offering a developmentally appropriate, experiential approach to education.  Collaborative success that fosters the spirit of teamwork and achievement between classmates is one of the many features that make us different.

Founded in Germany in the early 20th century, Waldorf education is an independent and inclusive form of education based on the insights and teaching of the renowned anthroposophist, artist and scientist, Rudolf Steiner.  Evolving from a profound understanding of the human spirit and human development, Waldorf education is regionally adaptive and has grown to include hundreds of schools worldwide.

The best way to learn more about the uniqueness of Waldorf education is to visit our school and classrooms during our tour season from October - December 2010.  We’ll post our tour schedule on this website in late August and begin taking tour reservations after September 1, 2010.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I look forward to meeting you!
