Thank you for your interest in applying to San Francisco Waldorf
School. Our website is a good way to familiarize yourself with Waldorf
education and our school. The best way is to come to our campus
and take a tour. It is at the school that you will see first hand
the students and teachers, the quality of the students’ work,
and the school environment.
Please call the office and we
will
send you an information packet. We have rolling admission
throughout the year for some grades. Please call the school if you have inquiries about
a particular grade.
If you are interested in applying to the school you may start by
arranging a tour. Tours of the grade school are considered part
of the application process. Applications are available on the tours. Please visit the following pages for more detailed information:
Tours of our grade school are considered part of the application process. Our parent tours for the 2009-2010
school year are on Tues. mornings from 9:00-11:00am and until 11:20am to visit the nursery. Remaining tour dates are Dec. 2 and Dec. 9.
Our annual "Welcome to Waldorf Education: An Exploration" will be on Sat., Oct. 18 and Sat., Nov. 22 from 9:00am to 12noon.
Limited childcare spaces are available for children ages 3yrs. and up.
Our Middle School Tour for grades 5-8 will be held on Monday, Nov. 17th from 7:00-9:00PM. Learn how the foundation for
creative thinking is laid in these important years for the pre-adolescent. Grade School faculty will be on hand to answer questions and give sample
lessons. Refreshments will be served.
Applications will be available at all these events.
