SIBLING DISCOUNT (Grades K-12): The eldest child in the family pays full tuition. There is a 10% discount for siblings, in the case of more than two siblings additional discounts are available. The sibling discount does not apply to Nursery tuition.

APPLICATION FEE: A non-refundable fee is due with the completed application.  The fee for Nursery is $50 and for Kindergarten to Grade 12, $75.

NURSERY: A one-time $500 deposit for new families is due upon enrollment. Tuition payments for each session are due as follows: for the Fall session in August, for the Winter session in November and for the Spring Session in February.  Invoices are mailed to families prior to each session.

KINDERGARTEN AND GRADES 1 - 12: A non-refundable tuition deposit is due at the time of enrollment.  For Kindergarten through eighth grade, the deposit is $1600; for the high school the deposit is $2700. This deposit is credited toward the 2009-10 tuition.

The following tuition payment options are available for Kindergarten to Grade 12:

Option 1: Full payment due by July 6, 2010. 

Option 2: Two payment option; half of the tuition is due July 6, 2010 and half is due December 6, 2010.

Option 3: 10 monthly payments through FACTS, a tuition management service.  Payment may be made by automatic debit, by check or by credit card.  A convenience fee is charged for each credit card payment.  Payments begin July 1, 2010. The non-refundable FACTS enrollment fee is $50.

Tuition payments also cover the cost of student accident insurance, tuition insurance, Parent Association/Parent Council Membership, Sports Program (grades 6-12), textbooks and yearbook (high school only).

ADDITONAL CHARGES: There are charges for late tuition payments and late pick-up of children from the After School Program.  There also may be additional charges for supplies such as musical instruments and special materials that are not provided by the school.

AFFORDABLE TUITION PROGRAM: Tuition grants from the Affordable Tuition Program are needs-based, as determined by the Affordable Tuition Program Committee and are considered separately from the admissions process. Families receiving tuition grants are required to pay all registration fees. Families must re-apply for tuition assistance each year. Affordable Tuition Program Application Forms are available online or you may request a copy from our office after November 1. The deadline for submitting an application for tuition assistance is in mid-January. The specific deadline date is announced each year.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM: (Grades K- Five) The After School Program fees are paid to the San Francisco Waldorf School in advance. Registration forms and information are available in the school office. Current rates are $7/hour pre-paid and pre-registered and $9/hour drop-in.
