High School Clay/Pottery Teacher

2013-2014 School Year

Located on two campuses in San Francisco including our new LEED gold candidate high school,San Francisco Waldorf School was founded in 1979. The high school was founded in 1997. We areaccredited by The Association of Waldorf School of North America and the Western Associationof Schools and Colleges. We are a Kindergarten through grade 12 school with 440 students and 68faculty members. In addition, the school supports a nursery program and early childhood classes forparents and children.

Summary:
We are seeking an hourly teacher to teach Pottery/Sculpture/Stone Carving classes for 2013-2014school year. The position requires some understanding of Waldorf methods for teaching art. Theability to teach to a wide range of student abilities is also an essential part of the job.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in subjects of teaching
  • Teaching experience in a Waldorf high school desired
  • Teaching experience in public and private high schools is helpful

Compensation and Benefits:
