San Francisco Waldorf School has a long tradition of active parent
involvement. In addition to supporting teachers when requested for classroom activities, all parents are members of the Parents Association at the Grade School and/or the Parent Council at the High School.
The goals of the Parent Association and Parent Council include:
- Community building through festivals, new parent orientations,
diversity awareness, newsletters, mentoring and special events.
- Fund raising through the scrip program, benefit events and
the sale of Waldorf-related products.
- Parent education through lectures, classes, study groups and
special presentations.
- General support of the school’s operations such as the
library, building, grounds and gardens.
Our Parent and
Community Professional Directory is
now available online.
