Located on two campuses in San Francisco including our
new "green" high school, San Francisco Waldorf School
was founded in 1979, and the high school was founded in
1997. We are accredited by The Association of Waldorf
School of North America and the Western Association of
Schools and Colleges. We are a Kindergarten through
grade 12 school with 420
students and 65 faculty members. In addition, the
school supports a nursery program and early
childhood classes for parents and children.
Summary:
For the 2010-11 school year, San Francisco Waldorf
High School is seeking a High School Humanities
teacher who has the educational background and
experience to teach a wide range of subjects in
Humanities on both the Geography/History and also
the English/ Literature sides.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates are Waldorf trained
teachers with a degree and experience teaching in
their field of expertise. Displaying a firm
commitment to work out of the foundations of Waldorf
education, applicants must be dedicated to
excellence in teaching, parent education and
collegial cooperation.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary is $46,000 with increments for Waldorf
training and years of experience. Other benefits
include tuition remission, medical insurance, and
