San Francisco Waldorf School Circus Club

The SFWS Circus Club for grades 3rd and up, is a comprehensive recreational after-school circus arts program offering students the experience and acquisition of a wide-variety of circus skills and performance opportunities. Activities include aerial and ground acrobatics, juggling and object manipulation, equilibristics, physical theater and improvisation.

Classes will focus on the following areas:

  • Aerial and Ground Acrobatics - rings, silks and trapeze Spanish web, tumbling, partner balancing.
  • Equilibristics - unicycles, stilts, rola-bola, juggling, and other object manipulations.
  • Physical Theater - comedic theatrics, story creations, improvisational skills and circus theater games.

Class size is limited to 20 and students are accepted on a first come first served basis. Students who register before the deadline but after the class is full will have guaranteed placement the following session. We are very sorry, but due to the high demand for this class we will be unable to make any exceptions.

Sibling Discounts: $20 off for second child and each additional sibling registration.

NOTE: 3rd graders who stay after school must sign up for the regular After School Program (ASP) from 2:30–3:30, all ASP fees and regulations apply.
