TUITION AND FEES 2008-2009

SIBLING DISCOUNT (Grades K-12): The eldest child in the family pays full tuition. There is a 10% discount for siblings.

APPLICATION FEE: A non-refundable fee is due with the completed application.

Nursery: $50
Grades K-12: $75

Upon acceptance to the school, new families pay a non-refundable $500.00 deposit plus individual enrollment fees per child (K-12, see chart below). This reserves a space in class for your child. The deposit will be deduted from tuition and is due with the enrollment form.

Grades 9 through 12

The fees noted above are in addition to tuition and cover the cost of the following:  Student accident insurance, Tuition Insurance, Parent Association/Parent Council Membership, Sports Program (grades 6-12), Textbooks and Yearbook (high school only).

ADDITONAL CHARGES: The Business Office requires a modest processing fee with each tuition contract. Other charges that may be assessed for the following: late tuition payments, late return of signed contract, and late pick-up of children in the After School Program. There also may be additional charges for supplies such as musical instruments and special materials that are not provided by the school.

NURSERY:Payments for the fall session are due in August; winter session in November and Spring session in February (Coupons with payment dates are mailed in July).

Grades K - 12 : Payments for the full year are due on May 2, 2008, and should be made payable to San Francisco Waldorf School. Installment plans are available. Two-payment, four-payment and ten-payment plans are billed directly by the school and include a nominal processing fee.

BUILDING FUND LOAN PROGRAM : In keeping with the tradition which was established when the grade school campus was purchased, each family is required to participate in our Building fund Loan Program by making a one-time, interest-free loan of $2,000. The school will repay the loan to the family following the June is which the youngest child graduates or leaves the school. Installment plans are available. The school is committed to helping every family, regardless of its financial circumstances, to participate in this tradition.

AFFORDABLE TUITION PROGRAM: Tuition grants from the Affordable Tuition Program are needs-based, as determined by the Affordable Tuition Program Committee and are considered separately from the admissions process. Families receiving tuition grants are required to pay all registration fees. Families must re-apply for tuition assistance each year. Affordable Tuition Program Application Forms are available online or you may request a copy from our office after November 1. The deadline for submitting an application for tuition assistance is in mid-January. The specific deadline date is announced each year.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM: (Grades K- Five) The After School Program fees are paid to the San Francisco Waldorf School in advance. Registration forms and information are available in the school office.
