Sports Basement March Madness supports SFWS

March Madness continues through this weekend at Sports Basement SF Waldorf School (part of SF Schools) is leading the pack! Christopher Evart (SFWS 2006), Technical Animator, Life of Pi

Christopher Evart, currently a Technical Animation International Supervisor at Rhythm & Hues Studios in Los Angeles, California is part of the team that has recently received an Academy Award Nomination for their work on Life of Pi. Nathaniel Anderson-Frank (Class of 2003), violinist

Nathaniel Anderson-Frank (Class of 2003) attended SFWHS for two years while his family was in the San Francisco Bay Area.  He now sits in the fourth chair of the Philharmonia Orchestra, under the direction of Principal Conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen.  They recently played three performances at Zellerbach Hall on the UC Berkeley campus in November. Bike-to-School Day

Thanks to a group of dedicated parent bicyclists, we had a substantial number of students participating in National Bike to School Day on May 9. Several teachers offered their garage spaces to house all the bikes, and parents Susan Robinson and Dennis Budd (grades 2 & 4) created a logo and individual bags for the children with donations from the San Francisco Bike Coalition and Clif Bars.
