Winter Fair

Call for Winter Fair Merchants

Online ApplicationOn behalf of San Francisco Waldorf School, we would like to invite you to apply for participation in this year’s Winter Fair. Our event will be on Sunday, December 3, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The Winter Fair is a festive celebration of the season that takes place on our grade school campus at 2938 Washington Street in San Francisco. It includes many activities such as games, crafts, puppet shows, choir performances, shopping for the holidays and more. Merchants who participate gain significant exposure because the Fair, a tradition of over 35 years at our school, is well attended, rain or shine, by friends and members of our school community and their children.

It is our goal to have a wonderful mix of craftspeople represented. Previous year’s merchants have brought items such as wooden toys, handmade dolls and dress-up clothes, beeswax candles, handmade soaps, jewelry, and clothing (for children and adults), just to name a few. Books, as well as donated parent handwork, are sold in our Parent Association room.

Having a broad mix of merchandise allows us to highlight your specific niche to an audience predisposed to appreciate your unique wares. The Waldorf School community is particularly interested in hand crafted, organic, recycled, and/or sustainably produced items, though every application will be respectfully considered.

Please complete our short on-line application by September 15. All applications will be reviewed by committee, and responses will be emailed mid to late October.

Thank you for considering the San Francisco Waldorf School as a venue for your work; we look forward to reviewing your application.
