New Mahogany Bookshelves in HS Library

Over the Winter break, the HS received a beautiful and greatly needed gift from parent Antoine Noor Adabachi. While students and faculty relaxed into the holidays, Noor designed, built, delivered and installed 92 custom bookshelves for the southern wall of the library. The bookshelves, made of mahogany, double the current space capacity and include five columns of shelving specifically designed for book displays. The library collection had recently reached capacity due to limited shelving space so Noor's workmanship has been quite timely and greatly appreciated by all. Students and faculty alike are enjoying the new "cozy" look and feel of the library. The wooden bookshelves add a warmth to the room and make it more inviting for reading and studying. The new shelves now highlight books for current main lessons, college guides and testing, fiction, audio-visual materials, and a small parent section. We hope to have the same warm wood tone shelving eventually wrap around the entire HS library and Antoine Noor Adabachi's bookshelves are designed with this future expansion in mind. Thank you Noor!
