Seventh Grade

Exploration & Experimentation

In the heart of Middle School, Seventh Graders are inquisitive and eager to explore the world around them. They have a deep inner need to be impressed, which we answer through the Seventh Grade study of combustive chemistry, filled with thrilling experiments and discoveries.
Seventh Graders continue the study of physiology, including nutrition, digestion, respiration, and circulation of the human body as part of their second physiology block, while also learning about the process of human reproduction and development.
Expressing ideas and personal experience in writing, students develop effective techniques in written expression, including compositions, reports, poems, and letters. Having traveled through the Middle Ages in Sixth Grade, we delve into the personalities and ideas of the European Renaissance, The Age of Exploration and its impacts, and economic geography in different parts of the world.
