Preschool / Parent-Child

Three San Francisco Waldorf School toddlers walking on a hiking trail holding hands and smiling.

We're here for you from the start.

Starting with our youngest learners, our approach to education is human-centered and holistic, nurturing each child’s physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development. Our Preschool programs gently guide families through the transition from home to school, and foster children's natural curiosity and reverence for the world around them.

San Francisco Waldorf School’s Parent-Child, Preschool, and Transitional Kindergarten programs are staffed by a team of dedicated Waldorf-trained teachers, who model kindness, curiosity, and patience in the classroom. In partnership with parents/caregivers, we create a loving, community-based network in which children grow into their academic capacities and evolve their whole selves.
