Our tuition is $54,100 and approximately 40 percent of families receive tuition assistance. We strive to help families afford this extraordinary education regardless of financial considerations. Education is an investment in your child’s future, and we are here to talk about scenarios. Visit the Equitable Tuition Program page or contact Admissions at 415-213-6131.
It’s a step-by-step process that begins by exploring the school. After setting up an account through our Admission Portal, you can take a tour, attend an open house, and set up a student visit. The application for Admission is due by the January deadline. Decisions are shared in March.
Our students are bright, engaged, and curious. They are interested in exploring many subjects and trying their hands at many things. They thrive in small seminar-style classes and want to connect with their teachers and classmates. If this sounds like a place you want to learn, we encourage you to explore, connect, and apply.
About half of each new class comes from San Francisco Waldorf's grade school and half comes from independent, public, parochial, and international middle schools from across the Bay Area and around the world.
Students attend colleges across the country and around the world, including selective universities (e.g., Yale, Stanford), small liberal arts colleges (e.g., Amherst, Bowdoin), excellent public universities (e.g., UC Berkeley, UCLA), and renowned art design schools (e.g., Pratt, Savannah College of Art and Design). Visit our college counseling page for more info.
We try to accommodate as many qualified students as possible and understand that being in a wait pool can be challenging. We don’t have a ranked list; we consider each student and each class individually and stay in touch through the entire process.
