SFWHS prides itself on its face-to-face student engagement with their teachers, peers, and course material. We are a cell phone-free campus, although students can access their phones for off-campus lunch and essential class purposes. We have found that refraining from cell phone use while at school allows students to be fully present with all aspects of our school. Other technology, such as class computers, projectors, and technological learning tools, are intentionally integrated into the students lives when it benefits the depth of learning. While technology is not the center of our education, our students are prepared to enter into the wider world after graduation.
