High School Play Performances

“Nothing Is The End Of The World (Except The End Of The World)” raises questions of identity, the nature of friendship, the role of AI in our lives and  what it  means to be truly human. Come see our spectacular cast of students grades 9-12  for a glimpse into their world and a memorable evening of theater. 

In the near-distant future, an NYC charter school becomes the first to welcome artificially intelligent students. However, new AI students Olive and Godfrey receive a chilly welcome from the already self-conscious and stressed-out members of the Junior class. When a reality show swoops in to capture this social experiment on camera, the priorities and moralities of the student body are turned inside-out. At turns both droll and touching, this dark new play questions how we reconcile the thin line between our ever-improving technologies and what it means to be human.

Since 1997, the San Francisco Waldorf High School has showcased student work and live performances to honor our school’s beginning. Join us for an evening of music, art and student projects.

May 9th from 5:00-9:00 pm

The Senior Play is designed to be the culmination of a student’s high school experience —and a gift back to the community. The cast of this production creates the sets, costumes, lighting/sound design and participates in the acting of the production. Stay tuned to find out what show the Class of 2025 will be performing. 

Friday, May 23rd & Saturday, May 24th 

The Senior Project is designed to be the culmination of a student’s high school experience —and a gift back to the community. It consists of at least thirty hours of experiential learning, a major research paper, and an oral presentation before the entire school and our greater community. Come see what areas of interest exist in our senior class and watch them present their areas of expertise.
