Campus Tour

Experience a school day in action! Observe a morning lesson, meet faculty and staff, and visit our Pacific Heights campus and facilities, including our beautiful urban garden. Please note that Campus Tours are for adults only. 

Weekend Open House

Visit classrooms, tour campus, and learn from current faculty about our school’s innovative curriculum and pedagogy. We’ll tell you more about how we create an environment where students are seen and feel they belong, and help you imagine yourself in our welcoming community. Please note that Weekend Open Houses are for adults only. 

Weekday Open House

For prospective K-8 families, we host Weekday Open Houses on our Pacific Heights campus during the fall and winter seasons. Bring the whole family for self-guided classroom tours and activities for different ages. Enjoy our campus, meet our faculty, and experience our vibrant, hands-on approach to learning. All are welcome!


High School (9th-12th Grade) Admission Events

SFWHS Information Session

Join us for this evening event to hear from our school leadership about our curriculum, student life, community, and the admission process. Meet some of our current parents/guardians in a social setting to learn about their experiences, and connect with other prospective families. ​Students and parents/guardians are welcome!

Campus Tour

Join us for a tour of SFWHS. ​One of the best ways to get to know our school is to experience our vibrant phenomenological approach during a morning lesson. During your visit, you'll meet school leaders​, tour the campus, and have the opportunity to observe classes ​like Conic Sections, Organic Chemistry, and Good and Evil in Literature. Students and parents/guardians are welcome!

Open House

Experience SFWHS through the lens of academic subjects like math​, science,​ and humanities. ​Participate in sample lessons​ like Adventures in Physics, The Origin of Writing in Mesopotamia, and Cultural Studies through Math, which offer a deeper understanding of our classroom experience. Students and parents/guardians are welcome!

Student Shadow Visit

Hang out at SFWHS for a day! During the visit, prospective students will spend time in a Main Lesson, an academic track class, and an all-school assembly. Past assemblies have included the Club & Affinity Group Fair, Spirit Week,​ Diwali Celebration, and Students vs. Faculty games. Get an authentic sense of our approach to learning, community, and campus life. This event is for current Eighth Graders.

Let’s Get to Know Each Other

Before submitting an application to San Francisco Waldorf School, we encourage all prospective families to visit our campus in person. Why? Because hands-on learning and human relationships are what Waldorf education is all about. From the sound of laughter in the classrooms to our urban gardens, performance spaces, and High School lab facilities to the beautiful watercolor paintings on the walls, our school is a place to see, feel, and experience. We can’t wait to show you around!
