Events and Volunteering

There’s nothing quite like a Waldorf event: friendly people, great food, and that extra something special for which our community is known. Come for the fun and sense of spirit that is uniquely Waldorf.

And get involved! Whether you feel called to make an ongoing commitment or contribute an hour from time to time, our families support the school in ways that are meaningful and fun. Together we foster joy in our shared work.

Parent Leadership

Along with Advancement event committees, such as Winter Fair and Spring Night Committees, parents also serve on the Board of Trustees, Parent Guild, Parent Council, and Diversity Committee, and Advancement Committee. They help host events and enjoy time together though the year.

While the children earn medals on a ropes course challenge that includes archery and a climbing wall, listen to live music, enjoy a cup of cocoa, or buy holiday gifts from local craftspeople. There’s something for everyone at Winter Fair.

Spring Night

Part part, part fundraiser, Spring Night is a way to give back to the school, connect with the community, and have a great time with dinner and dancing.

Grandparents & Special Friends Day

One day a year, Advancement invites students' grandparents or special friends to both the Grade School and High School campuses to share a meal and enjoy a presentation.
