As a Clinical Social worker with over twenty years of experience, I have designed a practice that recognizes diverse paths to family. I offer counseling, education and consultation services to those working towards forming a family, specializing in the area of adoption, infertility, as well as assisted reproductive technology and surrogacy. I also provide counseling to expectant parents, birth parents and adoptees and work to help navigate post adoption relationships as well as learning ways to support the adoptee. Because I believe each journey is unique, I respect what you have experienced and will help you discover and reach your goals. This mindful approach allows me to bring an open mind and heart to each situation. I will honor the trust you place in our partnership.

Through private consultations, workshops and lectures Pia is inspiring you to: Learn to be effective parents and prevent relationship issues; Better understand your child's needs, develop healthy rhythms - for sleep, eating, play, and respectful care; Learn easier ways to handle your child's strengthening will and the resulting frustration and conflicts; Balance work, family, and personal life; Revive your relationship with your partner; Discover meaning and clarity in a family crisis.
Pia's work focuses on creating opportunities for you to mindfully explore your interior landscape: your own mindset, personal feelings, needs, habits, intentions and visions.
Through spontaneous and creative actions, such as exploratory painting, free body movements, dance, and sensory practice, you allow your body and your heart to speak. Reflecting on these actions brings the unconscious into the conscious.
