Through immense uncertainty, schools and colleges implemented distance or remote learning from mid-March to the end of the school year in the spring. Carefully laid plans are in place to welcome students back to campus in the fall, plans that reflect our guiding educational principles, small-school flexibility, and commitment to community health and safety.
Decisions are made by our Covid Task Force, a leadership team of trustees and administration, based on public health information and protocols.
"This is a rapidly changing situation," notes Craig Appel, Administrative Director. "We look forward to seeing students at school and have developed a plan to meet this moment. We are prepared with our flexible framework."
The school is committed to safely supporting students' social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Unless the school is at Level 4 (distance learning), plans call for every student to be in-person at school every day.
