Lantern Walk in the Presidio

The second grade children and parents gathered at nightfall in the Presidio for the annual Lantern Walk. Recognized as a time of introspection in many cultures and religious traditions, the walk is an opportunity to reflect and rekindle one's inner light. Led by Class Teacher Stacey Hubbard, the children sang as they walked, the paper lanterns they created in hand. Then each child took a solo stroll around the beautiful path at El Polin Spring.
