National Merit Scholar Announced

Congratulations to senior Sydney Nemetz for being recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Competition.  Sydney is named as a Commended Student for her outstanding academic promise.

High school Juniors enter the National Merit Program competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®)—which serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.6 million entrants each year. Of those, 50,000 (roughly 3%) are named Commended Students and 16,000 (roughly 1%) are selected as Semifinalists.
