Summer Kindergarten Camp will spend the majority of the time outdoors as explorers and stewards of the land and sea around us. Children will experience lots of hiking, exploration and free-play in the many wonders of nature that are right here within a short hike from our campus. Pick-up locations may be adjusted to end points for those outings with longer hikes. Excursions will include everything from our beautiful neighborhood park, Alta Plaza, to the Presidio and Crissy Field. On days we remain closer to campus, the children may return to do a summer themed craft activity as well.
- The camp will run from Monday, June 15 - Friday, July 17. There is no camp on Friday, June 19th.
- The hours are 9:00 AM – 3 PM*
- Drop-off and Pick-up will be at our Grade School Campus (unless pre-notified of an alternate location such as Crissy Field)
- Children should come prepared with two hearty snacks (labeled as ‘snack’), a substantial lunch, and a fully filled water bottle in their backpack.
- They will need a sun hat and sunscreen.
- Children should also have extra layers for cool mornings and (hopefully!) warm afternoons.
- Please dress your children in clothes that can get dirty and muddy!
*Early drop off option between 8:30 and 9 M at no additional charge, but sign-up requested.
Children should have at least one year of Kindergarten experience.
Space at camp is limited. Priority registration is given to current SFWS families.
