K-5
At our school, social-emotional learning is not a separate class but woven into everything we do. In this way, our education takes a whole-child approach towards not only academic learning but also health and well-being in today's modern world. Children are taught through experience to think creatively and to see things from multiple perspectives.
Our Class Teacher model and Main Lesson Block schedule are the foundations that make Waldorf education unique. A Class Teacher stays with their students through Grades 1-5 and is able to then best support their strengths as well as their challenges as they develop and grow. Main Lesson is the first two hours of the school day, focused on a specific subject on a block schedule. Integrated use of storytelling, vocabulary, and writing exercises as well as art and hands-on learning helps to meet all learning styles.

Beyond the textbook
Personal Connection
Our small class size allows all teachers to know and see each student and their natural capacities and needs. Students build lifelong relationships with one another across the grades and Waldorf community.
Hands-on Learning
Multi-sensory lessons, field trips, and over-night trips engage students and help them to gain and retain knowledge. Lessons approach subjects from multiple angles through hands-on activities and real-world scenarios.
MAndarin & Spanish
Through a unique dual language program, children develop contrasts in linguistics and culture. Oral language acquisition in the early grades builds to reading, writing, dictation, and written exploration of grammatical structures.
