Christof Wiechert attended Waldorf school while growing up the in The Hague, Netherlands. He become a Waldorf teacher there and taught for 30 years after studying education and geography. He was a board member of the Anthroposophical Society in the Netherlands and also co-founder of the Netherlands Waldorf teacher training college. Together with Ate Koopmans, he developed the course “The Art of the Child Study.” Christof was the head of the Pedagogical Section of the School of Spiritual Science at the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland from 1999 to 2010 and has visited Waldorf schools on many continents. He continues to work for the Goetheanum, devoting himself to education and anthroposophy. Through his lectures, writings, and meetings with teachers, he has brought inspiration to many in the Waldorf school movement worldwide.
