Community Fund

A group of 5 high school students posing for a photo together at San Francisco Waldorf School.

Our community gives, our school thrives.

At San Francisco Waldorf School, we rely on annual tax-deductible donations from our school community to continue providing a holistic, hands-on, high-quality education to San Francisco Waldorf School students. Every year, our goal is to reach 100% participation from our community, including families, faculty, and staff.

"We love what Waldorf is and what it stands for, so we are happy to give our time and money to make sure it can continue its mission."
Ed Recinto and Jill Santos, High School Parents

MAKE A GIFT

What Your Gift Supports

While tuition funds a significant portion of our school’s operating expenses, it does not cover the full cost of a San Francisco Waldorf School education. The Community Fund helps support a wide range of needs and programs, from our beautiful classrooms to our extraordinary teachers. Your gift supports:

  • Professional development opportunities that enable our teachers to participate in ongoing training, workshops, and conferences, promoting personal and professional growth within our faculty.

  • The Equitable Tuition Program that makes a San Francisco Waldorf School education accessible to a diverse range of families through tuition assistance, allowing more children to benefit from this enriching education.

  • Artistic and outdoor programs, from music and theater to gardening, field trips, and handwork, fostering well-rounded individuals.

  • Technology, infrastructure, laboratory equipment, and materials for STEM-related disciplines, ensuring our school is equipped with the necessary resources to support learning while maintaining our commitment to a balanced, experience-based, and human-centered education.
