Nestled in a quiet neighborhood block of lower Pacific Heights, San Francisco Waldorf Grade School enjoys close proximity to local parks, cultural resources, and the expansive green spaces of the Presidio.
Past the front doors you will find a village-like campus with tree-lined walkways and bright classrooms. In all, there are three kindergartens, eight classrooms, a multi-use space (Dakin Hall), a wood shop, a eurythmy room, a library, a garden, and play yards.
The warm, welcoming classrooms provide a healthy space for learning. Soft-colored walls and fresh flowers bring beauty to the room. On the chalkboard, there is an illustration of the current Main Lesson subject, drawn by the teacher. The cupboards are filled with math tools and arts supplies and the students’ desks hold practice books, recorders, and writing supplies.
