Faculty & Staff

Our distinguished faculty is passionate about teaching and dedicated to supporting each individual student. All faculty complete an internationally recognized Waldorf teacher training program that supports teachers as they discover ways to inspire student learning.

Grade school students have a Class Teacher who provides primary academic instruction. This teacher leads the class through the grades, either from first through fifth grade or first through eighth grade—a distinctive approach that is shown to increase instructional time, improve academic performance, and support meaningful relationships. Students also have Specialty Teachers who are experts in the fields of Spanish, Mandarin, mathematics, music, handwork, woodwork, movement and games, and Eurythmy.

Instead of the traditional top-down administrative model, faculty work together to implement the school's educational vision. The collegial approach allows teachers to best meet the needs of each class and each student.
