After School Program

The After School Program provides children, kindergarten through grade six, with a balanced, restful afternoon in a homelike setting. The program runs daily from class dismissal until 5:30 pm and is run by experienced staff, many with Waldorf teacher training.

The program is integrated with the school day so that children experience one, harmonious day. Kindergarten children are guided through a gentle afternoon of indoor play, drawing, nap-time, snack, stories, and outdoor exploration. Grade school children can be with friends, play ball games, work on a craft, or find quiet in the library to do homework or read. The program offers children a neighborhood of sorts, within the limits of the campus and nearby park.

The school also offers weeklong camps during February break, Spring break, and summer.
