Shannon Bryant has fifteen years of experience in music performance and production, education, event planning, and marketing. She is Director and Producer of the musical, "It’s About Love", performed at Larkspur Café Theater and San Francisco State University. "It’s About Love" is a journey of self-discovery and love. She is also the Writer and Producer of two full length albums: "Oceano" 2007 and "Light" 2016. "I believe that music is a beautiful way to bring people together of all faiths and backgrounds, inspiring compassion, empathy and connection".

Kay Kostopoulos (Alumni Parent)

Black Olive Jazz is a group from the San Francisco Bay area that features the warm singer Kay Kostopoulos and the veteran Noel Jewkes on tenor, alto, soprano and flute. The group performs a wide range of jazz: swing, standards, blues, latin and originals. They are available for parties, events, and fundraisers, dances, and more. From duo to big band.

Kay and Noel have been featured at venues and jazz festivals all around the San Francisco Bay Area, including the Sonoma, Napa, Healdsburg, Vallejo, Sacramento, Palo Alto, and Fillmore Jazz Festivals. Their album, "Exotica", a Mediterranean Jazz Journey, received rave reviews, and was honored by the Stanford Humanities celebration. Kay is a Stanford lecturer in Business and Theater, professional actress, singer, dancer and director who has performed in plays and musicals in many regional and Bay Area theaters, including the Magic Theatre, Marin Theatre Company, San Francisco and California Shakespeare Festivals, Stanford Summer Theater and A.C.T. (American Conservatory Theatre). Her theatrical background lends an emotional sensitivity to her lush and sensuous three-octave vocal range.

David came to San Francisco from Tel Aviv, where he fronted legendary Israeli post-rock band The Fluorescents, sang with the Israeli Philharmonic, produced music for television, and coached high school students in musical theater. He is founder and artistic director of experimental performance group foreignfire, and music director at Or Shalom Jewish Community. David studied composition and Improvisation at Mills College, and teaches guitar, singing, songwriting, and improvisation at his home studio in Glen Park.

Amelia Romano (Alumni)

An eclectic blend of austere serenity and kinetic vibrancy, Amelia Romano takes what is known about conventional harp and surpasses every time. Pulling from first-hand experiences in South Africa and from her roots in a cultural hotbed in San Francisco, Amelia not only plays music from the repertoire but reprises them and creates originals. Latin, gypsy, jazz are all genres that she touches but her music defines its own path. Amelia is also available for private lever harp Instruction. All ages and levels welcome. Her teaching style integrates technique and a range of repertoire to educate and inspire the student.
