Symphony of the Soil screening

The Outdoor Classroom is excited to be co-sponsoring a screening of Symphony of the Soil a documentary by Deborah Koons Garcia at the Greater Good Food Film Festival.

Drawing from ancient knowledge and cutting edge science, Symphony of the Soil is an artistic exploration of the miraculous substance soil. This screening will take place at the Randall Museum on October 24, 6:30pm 

Suggested donation range: $5 to $20. SFWS community members can request reserved seats using the form below. Please arrive 10 minutes before the screening. Reserved seats will be released to other patrons at 6:25pm.

After the screening of Symphony of the Soil a discussion will be held with Ignacio Chapela, Associate Professor of Microbial Ecology and Director of the Laboratory of Microbial Ecology at Berkeley, and Senior Researcher at GenØk, the National Center for Biosafety, Norway, who appears in the film.
